10-Year Replacement Protection Explained
How the original 10-year protection period works, what the two replacement benefits cover, and how covered product failures are protected separately.
One Original 10-Year Protection Period
Master Sleep 10™ is designed as a long-term appliance protection program, not simply a warranty on a single oral appliance.
Each enrolled patient receives one original protection period of ten years. The period begins on the original appliance delivery date and continues for the stated ten-year term, subject to eligibility and program terms.
Two Replacement Appliances Included
During the original 10-year protection period, two replacement Master Sleep Appliances are included.
The two replacement benefits may be requested at any time within the original protection period — they are not tied to a specific year.
What the Replacement Benefits Cover
The two replacement benefits may be used for:
- Normal wear — when normal functional wear or natural appliance aging reaches a reasonable replacement threshold.
- Accidental loss — when the appliance is lost through an unexpected event.
- Accidental damage — when the appliance is damaged through an unexpected event.
- Eligible dental and oral changes — when the patient's dental or oral condition changes in a way that affects the appliance.
Covered Product Failures Are Protected Separately
Eligible product-quality or manufacturing failures are covered separately and do not use either of the two replacement benefits.
This keeps the two replacement benefits available for wear, loss, damage and dental or oral changes.
A Replacement Does Not Restart the Term
If an eligible replacement appliance is provided during the protection period, the replacement remains protected under the same original protection period.
For example, if a replacement is provided in Year 8, that replacement remains covered through the remaining years of the original 10-year term rather than beginning another ten years.
The Dentist Remains at the Center
Master Sleep 10™ does not replace the treating dentist. If a patient experiences appliance wear, damage, loss, poor fit or a possible replacement need, the first step is to contact the treating dentist.
The dentist evaluates the clinical situation and, when replacement coordination is needed, communicates with Master Sleep on the patient's behalf.
